Visian phakic IOL found safe, effective for correction of moderate to high myopia

Researchers in Japan have found the Visian Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL), a posterior chamber phakic IOL, is safe and effective for the correction of moderate and high myopia. The Visian ICL, like other phakic IOLs, is implanted inside the eye without removing the eye’s natural lens.
