Laser Eye Surgery at Woodlands Custom Vision
Dr. Manrique performs laser eye surgery using some of the most sophisticated technologies available today. He was one of the first surgeons in Texas to offer iLASIK, a blade-free eye surgery that combines the IntraLase laser with the Allegretto Wave Eye-Q, the fastest excimer laser system with eye mapping and eye tracking technology. This high-tech surgical method allows Dr. Manrique to develop a customized treatment plan, detect each patient's unique vision flaws and effectively reshape the cornea, often producing near-perfect vision. For patients who do not qualify for LASIK, Dr. Manrique offers several alternative vision correction treatments, including PRK, as well as Visian and Verisyse implantable contact lenses.
Cataract Surgery at Woodlands Custom Vision
Dr. Manrique specializes in an advanced method of cataract surgery whereby the eye's clouded lens is removed and then replaced with an artificial implant. Intraocular lens implants, or "IOLs," are uniquely designed to restore vision at most distances following cataract surgery, often eliminating the need for corrective eyewear. Dr. Manrique offers AcrySof ReSTOR, which can also be used to treat presbyopia (age-related farsightedness).
To schedule a one-on-one consultation with Dr. Manrique and learn more about your vision correction options, please contact Woodlands Custom Vision at (800) 824-7295.
