You can resume aerobic activities, light and moderate weightlifting and non-contact sports as soon as you feel capable. However, most LASIK surgeons recommend that you wait up to a month to resume contact sports, diving, water skiing, or any other activity where you may sustain impact to your eyes.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to wear protective eyewear after LASIK when participating in racquet sports, using power tools, and during any other activity where there is a risk of being hit in the eye. (You should take this precaution even if you don't have LASIK.)
